Sola Scriptura

I believe in the sole authority of Scripture, but I also believe that as an expression of what the scriptures teach on a given subject, that creeds and confessions are important. A creed does not have authority only the scriptures have absolute authority.

  1. i believe in god but not in scriptures.to me god is omnipresent and by serving my fellow living beings i serve god. texts limit us by dividing us into religions. we are all his sons.

  2. This comment deserves a response that is difficult to do as a comment. I will respond to this in the near future. For the present yes there is a God, but He is not some ethereal presence in the universe. This means that though He is everywhere present that we cannot worship the air we breath or trees or for that mater nature.
